About this Position
We are looking for a Render Programmer to help develop and improve the rendering systems of our next-generation sports simulator.
In this role, you will work with Unreal Engine 5 to implement and optimize rendering features, support visual quality goals, and collaborate with artists and designers to ensure the project achieves high technical and graphical standards.
SportSpired Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators. Our team includes professionals with experience at Wargaming, MYGAMES, The Walt Disney Company, Ubisoft, 343 Industries, Starbreeze, Sperasoft and EA Sports. We’re building an ambitious AAA title slated for release in 2028-2029.
Responsibilities
- Developing the project's graphics pipeline in Unreal Engine 5
- Developing and optimising render features in Unreal Engine 5
- Forming a content production pipeline in collaboration with the art department
- Working in a team with other departments, including technical artists, designers and gameplay programmers
- Implementing new rendering technologies to achieve visual results
- Debugging and fixing bugs in the rendering system
Requirements
- Experience working with any graphics API
- Advanced level of C++ proficiency
- Experience working with shader languages such as GLSL, HLSL, etc
- Knowledge of linear algebra and analytical geometry
- Understanding of GPU architecture
- Understanding of modern rendering methods
- Experience of working with GPU debugging and profiling tools
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Experience in developing games as a graphics programmer, or significant experience in related fields

- Experience working on projects for gaming consoles
